Amit's list of experience include Toyota as Operations Manager, and Axiom, American Express, Gartner, LexisNexis in various Strategy, Business Development roles.
Amit’s passion for technology kicked in when he joined a Melbourne based start-up business Axiom; a provider of Contact Centre infrastructure and a technology interface. Challenged with inconsistent growth and a market dominated by big players, Amit played a key role in executing the customer acquisition strategy with initiatives such as; value selling framework to improve the solution offering, reduced churn-rate to increase customer lifetime value and product bundle strategy to maximize the value capture.
His continuous obsession for growth strategy and passion for digital technology and online platforms were key factors of his success at American Express Global Business Travel. Challenged with the task to introduce new technology solutions to enterprise clients and transform their businesses from traditional offline to online approach. Amit led multi-national client engagements, built the ROI models and worked with multiple internal stakeholders within the matrix organization to align the deal strategy, service delivery and improved post-delivery adoption rate.
Following the success, Amit was offered a strategic acquisitions role within American Express Corporate Payments where he managed the portfolio profitability and negotiated some of the largest B2B partnership deals. To explore the technology innovation trends, Amit joined Gartner. He managed key consulting engagements working closely with CIOs of banking & insurance industry on strategic initiatives such as; digitization, Big-data, Applications rationalization, and APIs in Banking etc.
Amit is currently completing an Executive MBA from AGSM @ UNSW Business School. He is also a Mentor to UNSW Business School Peter Farrell Cup, assisting smart innovative ideas to grow. Amit joined LexisNexis in March 2016 with challenge to successfully launch and penetrate new product from ground zero in ANZ corporate market.
Amit's most recent learnings are from Harvard Business School lead course -Disruptive Strategy by Clayton Christensen, as he continue to work with organizations that need to be more innovative. Through this course Amit aims to assist organizations in strategic recommendations by putting on a set of lenses through which to view the world of disruption and strategy.
